- What's the difference between anti-wrinkle injections, fillers and boosters?
- In simple terms: anti-wrinkle injections relax the muscles that crease skin, fillers restore lost volume and shape, and boosters hydrate and repair skin quality from within. Many clients benefit from a combination — we'll explain what's right for you at consultation.
- Will injectables look natural?
- That's our whole philosophy — conservative doses, precise placement, and results that make people ask if you've been on holiday, not who did your work.
- Do the injections hurt?
- Needles are extremely fine and numbing cream is available. Most clients describe a few brief pinches — appointments are typically 15–30 minutes.
- How quickly will I see results?
- Anti-wrinkle injections take 3–10 days. Skin boosters give a glow within days, improving further after each session of your course. Profhilo® builds over 4–8 weeks.
- Can I go straight back to work?
- Yes — none of our injectable treatments require downtime. Small bumps or mild redness at injection points usually settle within hours.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are smooth hyaluronic-acid gels — a substance your skin produces naturally — carefully injected to restore lost volume, soften deep lines and rebalance facial contours. Results are immediate, reversible and need little to no downtime, and we only use premium, CE-marked products after a full facial assessment and medical history. Common questions about dermal fillers
- Are dermal fillers safe?
- Yes — hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in your skin, and we only use premium, CE-marked products. Treatments are performed by medically trained clinicians with deep knowledge of facial anatomy, and every appointment starts with a full medical history.
- Does it hurt?
- Numbing cream is applied beforehand, and the fillers themselves contain lidocaine (a local anaesthetic). Most clients describe mild pressure or a brief sting.
- How long do results last?
- Between 4 and 18 months depending on the area treated, the product used and your own metabolism.
- What's the downtime?
- Little to none. Some swelling or occasional bruising can appear for a few days — most clients return to work immediately.
- Can filler be dissolved?
- Yes. Hyaluronic-acid fillers can be reversed quickly and safely with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, should it ever be needed.
- Will I look overdone?
- No — our philosophy is conservative and natural. We start subtly and build gradually over sessions, so you always look like you.

- Which do I need — a peel, microneedling or a booster?
- As a rule of thumb: peels target pigmentation, texture and dullness; microneedling rebuilds collagen and softens scarring; boosters restore deep hydration. Most concerns benefit from a combination — your free consultation maps out the right order for your skin.
- Will a chemical peel make my skin visibly peel?
- Not necessarily. BioRePeel gives a glow with no visible peeling at all. Medium-depth peels may cause light flaking for a few days — like mild sunburn peeling — which is easily managed with the aftercare we give you.
- How many sessions will I need?
- Most concerns respond best to a course of three to six sessions, spaced a few weeks apart. Skin is constantly changing, so we reassess and adjust at every visit.
- Are these treatments suitable for darker skin tones?
- Yes — peels, microneedling and boosters can all be performed safely on all Fitzpatrick skin types. Pigmentation in ethnic skin is Dee's specialism, born from her own melasma journey.
- When is the best time of year for peels?
- Deeper peels are best planned for autumn and winter when UV levels drop. Whatever the season, daily broad-spectrum SPF is essential to protect your results.

- Which device treatment is right for me?
- As a guide: HIFU lifts and tightens face and body, Liposonix targets stubborn pockets of fat, Emslim builds muscle tone, plasma fibroblast tightens loose skin and eyelids, and the pelvic floor chair restores pelvic strength. Your consultation maps the right one — or combination — to your goals.
- Are device treatments painful?
- Most are very comfortable — HIFU feels like warm pulses, Emslim like an intense workout, and the pelvic chair is completely painless. Plasma fibroblast is the one with visible healing: tiny dots that shed over 7–10 days.
- Is there any downtime?
- HIFU, Liposonix, Emslim and pelvic floor treatments have none at all. Plasma fibroblast needs 7–10 days while the small carbon dots heal.
- Are the results permanent?
- Fat cells destroyed by HIFU or Liposonix are gone permanently, and plasma tightening is permanent. Lifting and tightening results typically last 12–18 months as natural ageing continues.
- Can I combine devices with injectables?
- Yes, but sequencing matters — HIFU should be performed before anti-wrinkle injections or at least a month after them, and never directly over filler. We'll plan the order for you.

- Who is TRT for?
- Men experiencing symptoms like fatigue, low mood, reduced muscle mass or low libido, where bloodwork confirms clinically low testosterone. Dr Landa reviews your results and medical history before anything is prescribed.
- How does medical weight management work?
- It starts with a consultation and assessment of your health, lifestyle and goals. From there we build a supervised programme with ongoing reviews — not a one-off quick fix.
- Why inject vitamins instead of taking tablets?
- Injections deliver B12 and vitamin D directly into the bloodstream, bypassing digestion — so absorption is faster and far more complete, especially if you're already deficient.
- How quickly will I feel an IV drip working?
- Many clients feel more hydrated and energised the same day. Effects build with a course — which is why pre-paid packs of 3 or 5 sessions save 10%.
Minor Dermatology
Quick, safe in-clinic removal of skin tags, moles and thread veins using cauterisation — minor procedures with permanent results. Expect honest advice (including when not to treat), short appointments, clear aftercare, and doctor referral letters arranged when your concern needs specialist care.

- Does cauterisation hurt?
- The area is numbed first where needed, so you'll feel little more than brief warmth or a light sting. Each tag or vessel takes only seconds to treat.
- Will it leave a scar?
- A small scab forms and heals over 7–10 days, typically leaving little to no visible mark. We give you simple aftercare instructions to protect the result.
- Are the results permanent?
- Yes — treated tags, moles and thread veins do not return. New ones can develop elsewhere over time, which can be treated just as easily.
- Can you remove any mole?
- Cosmetic removal is only for harmless lesions. Any mole that changes in size, shape or colour must be checked by your GP or a dermatologist first — and we can arrange a doctor referral letter if needed.
- How many veins or tags can be treated in one visit?
- Up to four skin tags per appointment, and thread veins are priced by area — several vessels can usually be treated in a single session.
